Description

This is a very special 1986 Buick Regal T-Type due to the condition and the care this car has received over the 31 years in existence. This Midnight Blue Regal T-Type is completely stock except for the back half of the exhaust, tires, roof liner, and a few minor commonly replaced items like a tiny foam breather filter, or coolant switch actuator (I have the original if you want to rebuild it). New rubber valve cover gaskets were installed September 2016.
The vehicle has original paint with Rusty Jones clear coat option. The car has been detailed once, making it waxed only twice. Original paint looks spectacular.
The interior of this vehicle is in mint condition. When you get in this vehicle it will look and smell like you have been transported back to the mid-eighties, replete with state of the art cassette deck player and in dash factory equalizer. The black dash plate and the radio plate are still guarded by the plastic protective coating that was in place when delivered from the factory. Literally, when you sit in this car it still smells like a new car on the showroom floor in 1986. Clean!

No sun roof or t-tops, the card is solid. It rides like a brand new vehicle and has less than 31,000 miles, the majority of which are easy highway miles. When you drive this car it still rides like the day it came out of the showroom. The Grand Touring Suspension is a solid as any brand new vehicle you can drive today.
For the majority of the life of this vehicle it has been stored but driven regularly. The car has never seen a New England Winter and was only driven in the heat of summer in the initial year of purchase. As a pleasure vehicle it was mostly driven in the cool New England fall. Two exceptions exist during a snowless New England winter after drenching rains cleaned the street. The car was driven in 8F weather which the intercooled turbo charger ate up like nitrous oxide.

When you pull the dipstick out of the oil pan you will see nothing but liquid gold Mobile 1 synthetic oil on the stick.
In the mid eighties the term Luxocruiser was coined to define the market the Buick Regal and Chevy Monte Carlo were competing for at the time. These cars were a throwback to the muscle car era that ended in the early 70s oil / gas crisis. Getting on the throttle already at cruising speed the turbo kicks in pushing you back into the seat like launching from a dead stop.
This car is loaded with luxury options.
If you ever wanted a Turbo Buick in your collection, this is the car you want. Compared to GNs it is extremely rare and it will stand on its own next to your GNX.

Will consider trade as part of sale, with a 1970s Ford F100.
