Car is an original survivor with 50,000 miles. Always garaged. Bought from the estate of the original owner. Stored for over 25 years. This is an unrestored original. Excellent condition. The owner kept all books and paperwork that came with the car, also kept receipts for any service done to the car.
The trunk floor was covered with plastic sheeting and the floors were covered with newpapers and the seats with blankets.
Paint is gold, interior is cream. The vinyl top is in excellent condition, no bubbles. Car has a 300 V8 with a 2 barrel carb, power steering and brakes, tinted windows, sonomatic am radio. Original exhaust, shocks and steering suspension components. The only thing I can tell that has been changed on the car is the tires, spark plugs, 1 battery cable and the battery.
The car has some rust bubbles on the left fender behind the quarter that I had cut out and new metal welded in. I have the bottom of the car below the molding painted because the paint was very thin and was going to start getting some surface rust. All paint above the bottom molding is original and very nice. Frame and floor is very good condition, no rust. This car has no rattles or squeaks and drives like a brand new car.
The bumpers and grill had a little bit of tarnish but still look great. Stainleet steel and the glass are very nice. We have the original Jack Kitsmiller Buick of Lancaster, Ohio sales receipt and window sticker. The original allstate Insurance contract, the buick owners manual and protecto plate with all other books and paperwork that came with the car when new. Even have the first registration card and repair and service receipts.
This is a rare find. If you have any questions you may call 740-385-8955 and speak with Royce or e-mail and I will get back with you as soon as possible. This car is for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early.
Thanks.
