This car runs and drives like a new vehicle. Everything works as it should.
The car sounds aggressive with the lumpy idle fromthe camshaft. It gets lots of attention and has done well at car shows.
This car is being sold to fund another project and it needs nothing but thenext owner to care for it, appreciate it and enjoy it as we have.
Upgraded with Gran Sport California hood and fenders, GS rear wheel well trim and GS steering wheel, Tilt column, Buick knee knocker tach. Newer items… Convertible top, rubber seals throughout, restored interior and windshield. Re-chromed bumpers.
Painted professionally in 2004 with PPG basecoat / clear coat, flat sanded and polished, very straight and clean.
Engine: Built 72 GS 455 engine with about 20k miles on it. Poston C113 cam, custom dual snorkel air cleaner, rebuilt 800cfm Quadra jet carb.
Exhaust: Custom 2 1/4 exhaust with 2 chamber Flowmaster mufflers.
Transmission: Built Turbo 400 with 2000 stall converter.
Suspension: Lowered front and rear, front disc brakes. 1 ¼” front sway bar and 1” rear, excellent ride.
Steering: Quick ratio steering box and rebuilt stock components.
Rear end: stock 8.2” open differential 2.93 gears and drum brakes.
Wheels/tires: 18” Coddington wheels and good life on tires.
