~ UNREAL 18+ RARE FACTORY OPTIONS ~

Hello & Welcome to a very special Ebay auction. This is the first time offered here on Ebay. This Auction is for a Very Unique Classic Automobile that is a very - very rare Icon Buick. The Buick Electra 225! This is the Rare 1961 Buick Electra 225, which had only 7,158 total production in the Convertible! This Classic Convertible 225 is the "Top of the Line" for Buick and this one has come equipped with more than 18+ super rare options, putting this one "Over the Top" for any Buick Collector, or any ClassicAutomobile Collector. This Beautiful '61 Buick was raised in Southern CA it's whole life and came to Colorado only for the last three years. As the History report goes, this is what we have been told by the former owner:

The car was purchased new and serviced in Southern CA. at Buick, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Dealership and then traded in there three times over the last 5 decades. The last gentleman that owned & loved the car and did a lot of the last current modernized upgrading and current changes to the car, suddenlyneeded immediate financial help after a severe medical condition and has since passed away. That is how the car ended up here in Colorado with a friend that helped out by purchasing the car but did not want to keep the car in the end. So here it is on the market, offered for the first time nationally.

Condition: This '61 Buick 225 is a very solid Southern CAClassic that has some cosmetic changes and nice upgrades as stated. The First is the color change. The original Exterior paint Color was Arctic White, Code C, and changed to Code V, Tampico Red. The Trim Interior Color was also changed over from Code 839, Fawn Leather to Code 869, Red Leather. The Power Convertible Top is Black and is now a very much desired & very expensive Mercedes Cloth Power Top.

The Interior was upgraded to a Cadillac front split bench seat with a six way power unit. The dash was completely re-sprayed with Tampico Red and still shows well. The top padded dash has some cracks, splits, and spots of shrinking and could be upgraded later. It is ok as is in driver quality condition. Dash was kept due to all the rare options attached on top of the dash I believe.

I will list whatI do know that needs repaired, or serviced:

Interior dash items, Wonderbar radio, disconnected, original power antenna switch, disabled, rear speaker option, disabled, (Note: both these items now work with New Sony Stereo Radio AM/FM/CD/PHONE/USB/AUX unit installed automatically, new power antenna and the new speaker adjustments fromfront and rear)wipers and washers disabled, A/C & Heater both disabled need finished but it is all there under the hood and on the dash such as the rare chrome ports and controls. Autronic Eye Dash Unit is disabled.

Items that are operating well:

Headlight switch and blinkers, parking lights, foot switch high beams, dash lights and dimmer switch, door entry switches and frontcourtesy lamps, (rears need bulbs and connected) New Sony Stereo Radio AM/FM/CD/PHONE/USB/AUX, Power Antenna, front rear speakers, six way power seat works, but it is slow and needs fresh oil service, dash tower clock works new quartz? all power windows work and operate good, power top works up and down, manual vent windows operate ok, horn works, brake lights work and dash gauges for temp and oil lights all work, as so does the gas gauge. doors both open and close ok and noting the passenger door to close is a firm shut needed. trunk open closes good and the lock all work ok. glove box good and operates good.

Mechanical Engine & Drivetrain:

The car Starts and Drives very well and shifts very well. The 401 engine is strong and has been rebuilt, but we have no paperwork and documents only word of mouth that seems to check out with current condition and our tests. No oil drips,no trans drips, no power steering drips, after a night in the garage. The car runs cool and sounds very nice in idle and in acceleration. Car has good power overall. Noting At 55 the front end has a slight shimmy, that should only be a front tire balance issue. 0-50 t was smooth perfect. Newer front end and Brakes.Tires and wheels are new and are upgraded to the 5 spoke custom Mag Wheels,"U.S. MAGS" with 4 New Radial Tires,Nexen Premere 521's, Size 235 x 60 x 17"s for a smooth ride and ready for highway trips. Newer Shocks and Brakes all have been upgradedwith a new master cylinder unit and front Disc Brakesinstalled for added highway / city stopping power.

Paint and Exterior Presentation:

The Paint is nice overall and glossy and it was applied well, but the surface sanding and blocking was sub show standards. A lot of very slight dimple effects when you look up super close at the flat surfaces in spots, from improper sanding or flat blocking. The Exterior Paint rates out at 6-7 - 7.1. there are showing many chips, minor dings, some small touch-ups, and the norm rock nicks. The paint is around ten years old and has some good miles on it. The whole car is very solid overall and no rust-out issues are showing anywhere. It is a very solid car from CAtop to bottom. The trunk is solid and the inner floors were lined with felting for display and looks nice. Trunk has a spare and jack, original. The underside is solid and the main floors and braces are all very solid and original! The car is overall very straight for a long huge car as this one is! Bumper Chrome is very nice and very good driver quality. Front bumper on the lower passenger side front has a slight ding and tweak. Some of the pot metal chrome is perfect and some areashave slight pimples starting in spots. Stainless trim is overall is very good and straight. Glass is good and clear tinted.

The Convertible Top is perfect and new within a year or twoand is as stated a Mercedes Black cloth top with Glass rear Window. This Top is ahigh quality Top and much more $$$ than the norm vinyl convertible top.

Overall Conclusion:

A very rare Investment '61 Buick Electra 225 Convertible that can be upgraded for super show, or even a concourse typecar with these very rare 18+ options. "As is" this Classic can just be driven as a daily driver to have fun and cruise right now with fun for summer top down times. The car speaks for itself and is "as stated" here. All very small items noted are noting somefixes and are the new owners responsibility to fix, or restore, and or have repaired. Everything stated is everything we know of and are up front and honest in this overall report and condition as possible. If something was overlooked, the vehicle is being sold in: "as-is" condition and was honestly & fairly disclosed. Good luck and have fun bidding. Any questions please ask any and all before bidding and also ask about a "Buy it now" as it is a option at anytime.
