Description

This is a 1928 Buick Sedan. I have wanted this car since I was sixteen. I knew where it resided and told my wife about it. I used to drive by it, sitting outside under a tarp and day dream about fixing it up and driving it. Ten years later, my wife surprised me with the car. It has been my pet project ever since. I love everything about it, and have thoroughly enjoyed working on it. When I got it, the motor was locked up and the car was in really bad shape. One of the corners of the car leaked and rain water got into it and ruined the interior as well as the woodsub framefor the body. I thought "No big deal" i'll just weld up a metal 1x1 tube frame and affix the body panels to that.Unfortunatelyi will never get that far.
I have had the car for almost 3 years now. The engine was re-built by the previous owner but due to a heart condition the car sat. I got the engine unstuck and have video of the car running and driving to prove it. I can share the link with anyone interested. I have sandblasted the entire frame, numerous engine components. I have primed everything, and had some of the parts coated with Professional grade enamel. I have the body panels in dry storage and they still need to be sandblasted. The body is in remarkably good condition. I have everything for the car, I even haveoriginaltools and the licenseplates from 1928.
I am selling this because the area I live in is a flood zone, and the city is buying our house and demolishing it this October. This leaves me with no place to put the car or work on it. I would love to see it go to someone that will enjoy it as much as I have. The car is for sale as-is where is. It is the buyers responsibility to pick it up/transport it. I will assist in any way I can.
