You are viewing for sale a one-owner, professionally built, original paint, and VERY fast, 47000-mile Buick Grand National survivor. When the owner purchased the car new in 1987 he wanted to maintain the stock appearance and street driveability of the factory Grand National and make it QUICK!!Like 10.47 e.t @ 132 mph, quick!! Setting and winning the NMCR pure stock ET record at Maple Grove Raceway in 1989.

The body on the Buick has been reinforced with a welded in ‘X’ member behind the rear seat and welded 6-point roll bar with swivel side bars (not shown but included).Additionally, the hood and trunk lid are fiberglass along with aluminum bumper brackets to lighten the car.

All of the factory ‘creature comforts’ were left intact and operational including the power steering, power brakes, A/C, power antenna, premium sound system, and custom Grand National interior.

Included are all of the receipts for the work performed and the original window sticker.

SPECIFICS

Body & paint

Original factory black with fiberglass hood and trunk lid.Car has always been garage kept and shows little wear (30+ years), but still wins at local shows and cruising events.

Engine & Transmission

Anderson Performance professionally built turbocharged V-6 generating approximately 600 h.p. on racing gas and 30 lbs. of boost.

Block was decked, hot tanked, and bored .030” over.

Stock crank magnifluxed and shot-peened

All internal parts balanced and blueprinted

3”Accufab/Kennie Bell throttle body and dog house
