Description

This auction is for a classic 1968 Buick Wildcat!

Item to be sold as is.

VIN#: 466398C116374

Miles:approx. 100 on a rebuilt engine

Boy, does it have a story…

This vehicle was purchased about 25 years ago by a man who likes muscle cars.

He took care of it and being the responsible father that he was, one day he agreed to let his son borrow it for a short trip. While at a stop, someone ran a red light and collided with the front-left portion of the Wildcat, denting it in the process. With some help from a pipe wrench, the owner bent some of the metal away from the tire and drove it home, eventually backing it into his garage where it has stayed ever since. According to the owner, that was over 10 years ago. If I’m not mistaken, the registration sticker reads as valid for “2002” so I can only assume it may have occurred up to 16 years ago.

Here’s a description of the car itself:

·Transmission:Automatic

·Engine:8-cylinder 435 (bored from original block)

·Fuel Type:Gasoline

·MPG:Unknown

·Running status: The owner said the rebuilt engine runs just fine, as that is how he managed to back it into his garage. He hadn’t changed the oil nor added gas to the gas tank however, and as such he did not attempt to start it in my presence. He also mentioned that the rebuilt engine only had about 100 miles on it.

·Modifications:NONE!Everything is original, rebuild and additional radio aside.

·Radio:Original with AM/FM bands. From the pics, you can discern what appears to be an additional radio w/ cassette player.

·Power Windows/Seats: Yes

·Air-Conditioning: Yes

·Body: Rust is apparent, as is damage from the collision (see pics).

·Color:White on white.

·Smog:Exempt

·Damage:Front-left of car was where the collision took place. Please see pics for any other areas of concern.

The owner has the pink slip, the title is clear, but the registration is not current. The car has been in the owner’s garage for 10+ years after all!

***I asked the owner why he was selling. He said his other car has a Corvette engine. 'Nuff said. LOL :)
