1987 Buick Regal T Rare Black V8 Car Low Production. Low Miles. Super Clean
Description
Up for sale is my Original Paint Black '87 Regal V8 car with the Y56 "T" package. Not many of these cars left the factory. Buick put out a Bulletin in Nov. of '86 stating for dealers not to take orders for Black Exterior Paint with the Exterior Sport Package (W02), that it will be for the Regal Turbo "T" Package (WE4). (see picture) Marketing thought there was to much confusion between the Grand National and Turbo T's, and then to have a V8 model. A few slipped by, I got one. 55,000 original miles. All original paint. In June of '87 the original owner had the Buick dealer install the rear spoiler, see picture of receipt attached. Original owner had for 1 year then sold to a very nice lady who wanted the Black but without the fancy Turbo stuff. She drove it sparingly and stored for about 20 years. I have had the car about 2 years and have been through EVERYTHING. I doubt I put 200 miles on this car in the time I have owned it. The list is endless! I am a maintenance freak and can't leave things alone. I have a lot of time and money into this car.The biggest change was the engine, out with the 307 and in with a 1971 455 Olds motor, added electronic ignition, FAST fuel injection kit with new tank and pump in tank. Everything around the engine is new, alternator, water pump, radiator, battery, plugs, wires, a/c stuff, exhaust manifolds (From Thorton, High Performance), dual exhaust, crossmember, u-joints, shocks, every brake component, added an Eaton Posi with a 3.73 gear, it's the 7.5 but it's a driver. The tires are brand new BFG's. The 200R4 was rebuilt using a GN core I had so it's got the BR valve body shift kit and new convertor. RUNS GREAT!The gauge cluster was a little lacking with just a 85 mph speedo and a fuel guage and some idiot lights (see picture of original cluster). I installed a VHX guage package, these are so nice. The interior is as close to immaculate as one can get. The seats were kinda faded so I bought the BEST seat covers that matched the original and new foam and had professionally installed, as well as the carpet and headliner. All interior stuff works, power windows, power seat, A/C is all there and hooked up but I never took in to get charged. The car is a turn key. The paint is original and has the lacquer check marks, still original bumper fillers. Rust free car. Please study the pictures. I am going a different direction and parting with a couple cars. The car is sold as is and where is. I might advertise locally. I can be reached at (616) 897-6503 for questions. I will include all manuals and copies of my parts receipts. Buyer responsible for any transporting and the car should be picked up in a reasonable amount of time.
