Cruisin Classics is lucky to present a beautiful 1970 Buick GS Convertible. The last owner had it for over 40 years and has kept it in optimal condition. A good indication of constant care is the engine compartment. Clean, organized, maintained and left like it was when it rolled off the line. It was rebuilt in '03-'04 and has only 500-600 miles since then.It is powered by 455 cubic inches of muscle (rebuilt around 2002) and mated with an automatic... transmission. The matching number engine is running at its peak. Added at that time was a Stage 1 cam shaft. One drive in this classic and we were hooked. You can feel and hear the power from this drive train with just a little pedal. It's always a good feeling knowing how much power is on deck waiting to be exhumed. The trans shift is flawless. A 10 bolt rear end with freeway friendly gears make this a vehicle for everyone. The interior is furnished with white buckets, a white back seat, black carpet, stock dash gauges, aftermarket oil pressure and water temp under dash gauges, center console with horseshoe shifter and a stock AM/FM stereo. The seats are in awesome condition as well as the carpet, newer convertible top with a glass window. All gauges appear to be working properly. The top is power and has a newer boot. The original boot is stored in the trunk. Making the drive a pleasure from the inside is assisted by cold factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes with front disc and drums in rear. The exterior has been painted in it's factory color of Matador Red (code 75). If you are going to have a nice shiny paint job on a car it better be straight as an arrow and this is just that. The newer white top is very noticeable by contrast with the red. The Goodyear Eagle ST tires are at 80% tread which are paired with a perfect match in the Buick Rally's. Also a great feature of the GS was the Ram Air hood which is fully functional and ready to for action. This car is one for the collectors and enthusiasts both. For a car almost 50 years old, it has taken father time and given him a beat-down. The 70's come alive as soon as you sit in it, turn the key and take off. This year was the best year in our opinion for the GS's and this particular one beat the odds and is here for you to take advantage of.
