Description

1972 Buick Skylark for sale. This is a project car that unfortunately wont get finished by a family member. Car is an Arizona car and very solid. All floors look original except the tunnel where it was cut to fit the T56 transmission. Paint is a meteor gray, and very well driver quality. There are a few scratches and dings from being in a shop for so long, but nothing overly bad.
Motor is a 2002 lq4 with 40k miles on the bottom end. This came out of a wrecked company truck, it was then fitted with a magic stick 4 cam with matching btr .660 springs to give it a nice muscle car sound. Was next placed with an edelbrock carb kit, and a holley 750 carb. Headers are ceramic coated Dougs Headers, and originally for a 98-02 camaro. Motor has not been ran since all this was done. Car does not have a fuel pump or adequate lines. Stock lines are on it, and will be ok for the carb setup, but it was debated on getting a fuel injection setup.
Attached to the motor is a 2001 t56 6 speed manual from a donor camaro with 100K. Has a spec stage 2 clutch and a MGW short throw shifter.
Has driveshaft already made to fit the car, but not installed.
Rear end looks to be original 10 bolt 8.2, gears are unknown, has UMI performance upper and lower bars on it.
American racing rims, 16" wheels. Rears need correct lug nuts.
Car has no headliner, and will need carpet to clear the oversized transmission tunnel. Otherwise the interior is in reasonable condition, seats are dirty but not bad. Driver side has 2 little holes shown in pics next to the shifter.
Trunk has a bunch of random trim pieces in it, not sure what all is there, and all that is missing.
From a quick scan it looks like the headlight covers are missing, passenger front blinker, front fender running lights, door mirror, and i'm sure more little odd and ends.
Front suspension was all rebuilt, but it a few years old now and looks a little dry, but has aftermarket tubular upper and lower "A" arms, and a heavier duty front sway bar.
Was a factory Ac car, but the firewall was shaved and has no heater or ac components in the car. A nice underdash kit is easily available though.
This is a PROJECT car, stuff I can see itll need for sure will be a fuel pump, brake lines, carpet kit, headliner, dash, exhaust system from headers to mufflers, headlights and covers, clutch and brake pedals to be hooked up, power steering lines, and I'm sure a little more.
I personally think this would be a great father son project that'll not require too much, and could probably be road worthy with a few weekends of work.
Please email me with any questions prior to bidding, or if you'd like more pictures. Car is being sold as a project, as is, where is, with no written nor implied warranty. Car is also listed locally, so seller reserves the right to end the auction early.
