1973 Buick Riviera Boat Tail 455 V8 2 Door Coupe Looks Good Drives Excelllent
Description
1973 Buick Riviera
Car came out of a collection in which the owner passed away and I acquired it
It sat for years so it did need some mechanical work
$4500 later (receipts included) it is now back from the dead and running / driving very well
455 big block runs strong with no oil smoke at start up or under hardacceleration
Transmission shifts well
Paint appears to be original as far as I can tell. floors, frame, under-bodyand trunk very solid
Dash pad excellent. Instrumentslook great
As with any 46 year old un-restored car, finish does show age but very presentable. Some paint blemishes. only place with rust is small area of surface rust right side front door lower front corner (easy fix) Looking under this car you can see it was not used in Michigan winters.
Ready to drive and enjoy
I'm happy to talk to any potential buyer about any questions about the car. I will answer as honestly as I can. I'm not looking to misrepresent the car in any way. I'm a big time car guy and understand how frustrating it can be to travel many miles to see a car and within the first 5 minutes you know the car is not at all as described. I don't like wasting peoples time or mine own.
This generation Riv is so unique you'll get plenty of thumbs up and attention at car shows. I had four guys checking it out at the DIY car wash and pictures being taken of it just last week
With that said, the car is being sold as-is with no warranty. Potential buyers are welcome to come see the car pretty much any time.
