Description

1986 Buick Grand National
110,375 original miles
100% stock engine that is California emissions legal with the following reliability enhancements:
  • MSD spark plug wires
  • Sachs front and rear shocks, replacement coil springs
  • A new Powermaster accumulator (March 2019)
  • Scanmaster and Autometer analog boost pressure, coolant temperature and oil temperature gauges to monitor engine parameters.
  • TurboTweak chip programmed for 91 octane @ 14.5 PSI adjusted further by Lou Czarnota ("Turbo Lou") of Irvine, CA for emissions and drivability.
  • Painted hard up-pipe.
  • For noise there is an aftermarket single exit 3" cat-back exhaust.
No accidents. Very straight body.
T-Tops Excellent paint for the age - resprayed 20 years ago but like glass as car has always been garaged.
17" American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels.
Very clean interior - working A/C (needs to be topped up), original working stereo (could use new speakers and new antenna), working lights and instrument cluster.
Vehicle has been in the family for about 20 years and has averaged under 1,000 miles every year. The car is serviced annually, starts easily, shifts smooth, runs great, has always been reliable and can even get over 25 mpg on a highway cruise.
The vehicle spends most of its time in the garage. It will come with new seat belts, new "3.8 SFI Turbo" logos for the hood, new coolant overflow tank for the engine, original turbo heat shield, and new driver's power seat motor (all not pictured in advert).
Car show ready but could use new weatherstripping around the doors and T-Tops and possibly the headliner.
We get stopped constantly driving this around and enjoying it on a sunny Sunday cruise.
Car is located in Southern California.
Serious offers welcome.
Any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
