1926 Buick sedan
Description
From the estate of the restorer, Jeff Kearney, we are proud to offer his 1926 Buick 2-door Master 6 sedan. He did a museum quality restoration of the drive train (6 cyl with original vacuum fuel pump) and body including new wood through the cabin. As an older restoration that has been used a bit in parade work and ice cream runs the body has a few paint chips but nothing of significance.
The interesting part of the car is he chose to do the interior in a rough and serviceable synthetic fabric. Prior to his passing he removed many of the interior panels and had the trim metal repainted, perhaps as a prelude to having the upholstery done in a more original fabric. All the panels are present for pattern use and are tucked in the car along with the metal (window frames etc.) and handles. It could be reinstalled as was or improved with a finer fabric.
The car is currently registered in my name in Northern California and I have driven it about 20 miles. It starts easily, runs as it should and considering mechanical brakes it stops better than I would have expected.
