1935 Buick Model 41 - (also called a Buick "Special" after 1936).
All original, family owned since new, well cared for 1935 Buick Series 40 with 46900 original miles. Runs and drives great! Garage kept its whole life, in excellent condition for its age.My father has passed and we are selling off the estate's vehicle collection.This is a beautiful antique car that’s turns heads and garners waves everywhere you go. It will be a great addition for the next family or collector looking to enjoy depression-era luxury.
233ci inline 8 cylinder paired with 3-speed manual transmission. Starts and runs smooth, drives and stops well. Fuel pump rebuilt May 2019, fuel tank flushed. There is one cracked exhaust manifold tab with older repair (doesn’t seem to leak), and one broken manifold stud on rear. Stainless muffler and pipe (original pipes included).
Original paint is in very good condition save for a few scratches and two nickel-size dents. Professional lead/repaint of driver rear fender and pinstriping at some point, although cannot tell. The top vinyl in excellent shape. Underbody has minimal surface rust only. Window seals are hard. Interior is original, in very good shape for its age, but could use some replacing/updating.
Included is the original sales brochure, as well as numerous spare parts: points sets, cap, couple of rotors, plugs, rebuilt water pump, 2 brake lining sets, speedo cable, caps for gas and water, tie rod ends, original exhaust pipes, spare wipers, etc.(last photo).
