Description

I bought this car from the owner of 37 years because he needed to keep his house. I'm disabled but I thought buying a few classic cars to fix up would be good...yeah I know how just don't have the ability anymore so my loss but I got to have fun buying them and dreaming about driving them! The car was originally Dark green with a black interior and top. The previous owner painted it yellow for 37 years, when I got it it was in primer gray which I can't see cause of bad vision so I had some heavy build primer tinted Blue which is the color on it now, I have extra paint so you can work on it while keeping it looking good.. Body is straight but there is some bondo on the passenger side. There is no rust under the floorboards there are some pinholes in the trunk, this truly is a California car, even comes with the "Skirts" to prove it!. The engine runs strong transmission seems to shift fine just put a new set of Cooper "Super Cobra" raised white letter tires on the ralley wheels 5 of them and have a brand new Robbins top with glass window in the box waiting for after it gets painted. The frame does go up and down manually but I don't want to try it with power till I get the new top on. New heater core waiting to go in, good oem set of window regulators in a box waiting to go in. I also have a new set of lock's and keys including doors, glove box, trunk and ignition. I also have a set of door seals for it. It is an original 4bbl carburetor with power steering and brakes but that's about all the options you get! It has a nice looking dash but it has cracks, the seats have been reupholstered at some time look nice charcoal gray cloth, door panels need some attention but are cheap at original parts group. The 350 was rated at 10.25 to 1 compression and 285 HP with tons of torque. I like the car but I'm more of a Ford guy and I have a 65 Galaxy convertible to restore so this one's up for grabs.
