Description

1972 Buick Stage 1 Convertible Replica, I have owned this car for5 years and it has been garage kept only driven May till October. Car is yellow with white interior and top. Body is in excellent condition, no rust at all, interior and top are in excellent condition also. Engine is 455CI with auto transmission and car runs and shifts excellent, no strange noises, smoke, etc. Car was never raced or abused in any way. Car was converted from its original 1972 Buick Skylark Custom, and$20,000 was spent converting toGS originality, including new GS spec springs and front disc brakes, I have slips for all work done. Also, upgraded heavy duty Hotchkis sway bars, front and rear, 355 Posi rear added as well. This car looks, runs, and drives great. It is a big attention getter at car shows and from everyone on theroad. Stage 1 convertibles are rare and if you want one all original you will spend over double the price of this one, and it is very hard to tell the difference. Please see below breakdown!!!! Not interested in trades, you will be responsible for shipping costs, so check them out first. Please call or email with questions Frank 508-367-0498 If you have less than 5 feedbacks please call before you make offer!!!! Photos are current, please check them out, they tell the story.

EXTERIOR

Fresh re-paint 3 years ago. Many chrome trim pieces replaced and rear bumper was re-chromed 3 years ago. Front bumper still looks good. I would ratepaint a 8--9 on a scale of 10 with 10 being trailer queen. Wheels are 17 inch American Racing, Chrome Torque Thrust in excellent condition, as are tires.

INTERIOR

Bucket Seats and door panels are a pearl white with matching boot cover. All gauges work. I added under dash temp, volt, oil pressure gauge and replaced broken clock with a Tach. Custom leather stitched on wheel cover gives driver a nice feel. Has Retro Radio with plug in for I Pod. New carpets and GS Vinyl floor Mats.

All new moldings/gaskets done in 2012.

GLASS

All original and in good shape. Scratch on passenger side of windshield caused by wiper abrasion. Back window is glass.

UNDERSIDE

Very good condition with no rust. Has new FLOWMASTER CUSTOM Exhaust, with factory look turn down tips.

TRANSMISSION

3 speed auto with shift kit. Works perfectly with easy 2nd gear chirp on acceleration. No leaks or issues.

REAR

355 POSI

TIRES

Plenty of tread on RIKEN 17 inch Radials

ENGINE

455 Buick with functional hood scoops for Ram-Air. I replaced the old Carter Carb with a new Holley 750. Has electronic ignition and new wires. New Battery last year and new short ratio steering box. Factory AC was serviced in 2012 and works great. Also replaced heater core and added aluminum radiator.

Just recently replaced all Valve Seals and springs.

Engine is very strong and is an absolute Torque monster. This drive train used to beat HEMIS back in the day. Check on YouTube for videos of match ups.
