Description

Get ready to let the top down. Up for auction is my 1969 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible. Its not a show car but with a little work & money, it could be. 350 8cyl Buick Engine that runs goo, blue exterior, black vinyl interior, power steering, automatic on the column, working power top, ( most of these convertibles have manual tops or the tops dont work ) original working buick am radio, with many new parts. new muffler, new radiator, new hoses and clamps, new valve cover gaskets, rebuilt alternator, new voltage regulator,. new plugs, points wires & water pump were all installed. G78-14 bias ply tires with steel rims & original buick hubcaps. All of the chrome trim is in the trunk along with brand new, ball joints & tie rod endsstill in the box. The back plactic window is faded from the sun & there is come rust bubbles along the trunk & on the body below the door where all of these buicks start to rust at. The front plastic grill is cracked & will need to be replaced, it looks ok for a daily drive but is being held together by pop rivots and is not suited for that show car look,,The bias ply tires are good & hold air & can be driven on but are starting to show their age & dry up. A nice set of radial tires would make this car ride even better. If you was to get a good body/paint guy, then you would have this car looking like a show car in no time. I use to drive it around the neighborhood & to the local car shows & it got a lot of looks . All lights work as they should & all windows roll up & down properly. I have a clean NYS registration in my name. New York State uses transferable registrations for pre 1975 vehicles instead of titles that you can register in any state.
