Description

If you're looking for a Cadillac to customize or modify, or restore to showroom condition, this is a great car to begin with. The leather seats show typical wear for their age, there's been some paint work here and there and is thin in places, and has the usual paint nicks and some patina sticking its head up in a few places, but in the original color.FOREIGN BIDDERS are encouraged to participate in this auction, clean title makes it easy for international shipping, PLEASE email any questions before placing a bid and only make offers if you really intend to purchase the car, thank you. Currently registered in my name in California, insured, and driven by me. The hood was removed for ease of working on the engine, but not put back on perfectly, needs adjustment for fit. PLEASE TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS I work a lot, so my response to questions will be delayed. The vinyl top has been replaced ($550.), and the dealership installed rear bumper guards. It has the original factory Am-Fm radio that works occasionally, but will need some attention to work perfectly. Engine has good compression, head gasket replaced, valve cover gaskets and oil pan gaskets were replaced to solve a slight leak, freeze plugs replaced, as well as the motor mounts. The car has been recently tuned with a new air filter, recent oil change, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, plug wires and a few incidentals. The pan gasket was replaced, no leaking, fluid changed and rear u-joint. The fuel system has a new fuel pump and filter and rebuilt carburetor, although I would suggest converting to electronic ignition. The radiator and hoses were replaced with a new water pump and coolant, fan belts and heater control valve. Brand new Interstate battery (2017). The car stops with its new front brake pads, rear shoes and hardware, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. The upper control arm bushings have been replaced as were the shocks, and power steering pump and the tires. It has a rebuilt starter. All of the work that I have listed has been done over the past two years, but the car is reliable enough to drive and no, the air conditioning doesn't work. Please keep in mind that this Cadillac was built 45 years ago and like all previously owned vehicles it is not to be driven like a race car. It's a cruiser that needs to be babied. This 1972 Cadillac is sold as-is, where-is, with no return and no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Bid only if you intend to purchase. I can assist when you have the vehicle picked up or you coming to pick it up.
