Attention: Cadillac Enthusiasts
This listing is for a beautiful 29-year-old, very well preserved 1987 Cadillac Brougham with just over 90,000 miles. It almost looks like a new car.
About This Cadillac:
-According to AutoCheck.com, the original owners kept this car until September 2015. Both AutoCheck & Carfax available upon request.
-AZ car its whole life.
Engine/Mechanical:
-5.0L V8 runs perfectly
-Looking under the hood, everything is clean, with new hoses.
-No leaks on garage floor after being parked overnight and for up to 2 days. There is some oil seepage but no substantial leaks.
-No warning lights.
-Automatic transmission shifts as it should
-Upon starting the vehicle, there is a slight rattle that sounds like it's coming from the starter.
-Air-ride suspension functions properly.
-Nearly brand-new whitewall tires.
Body:
-Paint is in good shape (excellent shape for the year). Since it's white, it's harder to see some of the slight the imperfections from age.
-It appears that at some point the passenger-side doors may have been repainted. No accidents reported on AutoCheck or Carfax.
-Typical fender filler aging problem. New front fender, rear fender, and rear license-plate fillers have been ordered and will be included in the sale. Paid $160 for them.
-Vinyl roof is clean and nearly perfect.
-Small dent on on passenger-side fender. Can be removed by paintless dent repair shop.
-Small nick above passenger-side headlight. New headlight bezel has been ordered.
-Front hood ornament is missing. Replacement hood ornament has been ordered. Can't guarantee fit until I receive it.
-Trunk-lock ornament on the car is functional but partially missing. A replacement used one is included.
Interior:
-Fully loaded with p/everything (seats, windows, mirrors). Everything works.
-Tilt, telescoping steering wheel, & cruise control. Cruise control works every time.
-Leather interior in pristine condition without any rips or tears anywhere.
-A/C does NOT work. It has been converted to R-134 but it leaked out all of the Freon we just charged it with. It did blow cold air for a few hours when I drove it home, so A/C works. By morning all Freon had leaked out.
-Radio/cassette player does not work. Power antenna is broken.
-Headliner is starting to sag and will need to be redone. The material doesn't have any rips, it's just separated from the foam padding.
-All interior lights work, all cigarette lighters work.
In summary, to be a perfect car for the everyday enthusiast, it needs:
-A/C leak repaired
-New stereo & replacement antenna
-Headliner replaced
-Fillers painted & installed
