The epitome of elegance, luxury, & class, all wrapped up in one.
‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is proud to offer you this absolutely gorgeous, freshly restored 1967 Cadillac Eldorado, finished in its factory correct (Code 12) Grecian White wrapped around a perfect original (Code 411) black leather interior! As a classic car dealer, I have sold everything from Model T’s to Ferraris, to 2016 Corvette Z06 cars, and I can safely say that this ’67 Eldorado is on my list of top 5 favorite cars! A two-year only body design, its crisp styling, initiated by GM styling chief Bill Mitchell, was distinctive and unique, and more angular than the streamlined Buick Riviera or Oldsmobile Toronado. It was the only production Cadillac to be equipped with concealed headlights behind vacuum operated doors.
With only 51,000 original miles since new, it is blatantly obvious that this beautiful car has been meticulously cared for & maintained since day one. She has never been damaged in any way, and the all-original sheet metal is laser straight all the way around the car. The Grecian White paint is simply perfect with a bright lustrous shine that is blinding, and all of the chrome & bright work is excellent. This car is spectacular, period! Open the driver’s door, and you will find an all-original black leather interior that is as MINT as you will ever find in your life, with no blemishes, rips, tears, etc. It is very rare to find an original interior that is in such spectacular condition w/ hardly any signs of use over the last 50 years! All factory original gauges, power options, hidden headlights, etc. work perfectly. Power options such as Power Windows, Power Seat, Automatic Climate Control (blows COLD), etc., all work perfectly. The AM/FM Radio, lighter, windshield wipers, everything functions perfectly! She did not come factory equipped w/ Cruise Control, so during the restoration a correct Cruise Control unit was added, which works beautifully. The interior is extremely comfortable, with no sagging in the seat, etc., and when you slide inside this luxurious automobile, it truly feels like 1967 all over again! Inside the glove compartment, you will find the Original Owners Manual, as well as the Original Protection Plan booklet. The new owner will also receive a stack of receipts for parts & labor performed over the 18-month restoration process, which was just completed this month.
Pop open the hood, and the first thing you will notice is how beautifully detailed the engine bay is, with concours touches everywhere that meets the eye. Nestled inside you will find the original numbers matching 429ci engine (340hp & 480 Ft. Lbs./Torque) wearing its correct colors, linked to the original numbers matching TH425 automatic transmission. To enhance its distinctiveness, in 1967 Cadillac adopted the Buick Toronado's front-wheel drive Unified Powerplant Package. Based on the Turbo-Hydramatic 400, the TH425 placed the torque converter next to the planetary gearbox, which it drove through a metal, motorcycle-style roller chain. With 51,000 original miles, this drivetrain has barely begun its life! She starts, idles, runs & performs flawlessly in every way w/ absolutely NO issues whatsoever! During the 18-month restoration, new seals, gaskets, bearings (important on front-wheel drive automobiles), brakes, steering box, etc. everything was replaced w/ brand new OEM parts. There is not a single component on this car that was not checked, and then checked again! She is ready to drive anywhere & everywhere w/ no worries about reliability. If you have never driven one of these ’67 Eldorados, well you are in for a wonderful experience. Comfortable does not even began to describe how it feels when you glide down the freeway in one of these luxurious cruisers! I drove this beauty to the local Starbucks and within two minutes there was a huge crowd surrounding the car. Again, I have sold some of the finest classic cars/muscle cars in the country but this Cadillac will get more attention than all of them!
You could search for 10 years and will never find such a pristine example of a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado! This is a very special car indeed, and with a marketplace full of pieced together Frankenstein cars, most of them running through these popular auctions that have become all the rage, it is a far & few between to find such a rare gem such as this. If you have been searching for a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado, you have found the best!
