Garrett Classics is proud to showcase this 39,171 mile 3-owner clean and original 1979 Cadillac Seville Elegante. This car resided with its original owner until the mid 2000s when it was purchased by the service manager at the dealership it was sold & serviced at. The car was then purchased by a gentleman here in Texas. The car is now offered for sale here at Garrett Classics in Lewisville, Texas. Enjoy our presentation and feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions about this clean & original 1979 Cadillac Elegante.

The original paint is in fair condition throughout. The hood has been repainted and there has been some color sanding in areas. The deck lid could has some water spots and little surface scratches. These would come out with a light color sanding and buffing.

The special edition Elegante was an additional $2735. Purchased in December of 1978 by a gentleman in Colorado, for his wife, the car remained in the Denver area and was driven only occasionally. When the owner became unable to drive anymore, the service manager at the dealership who had serviced the car fore all of it's life, purchased it. Now the current owner has it here in Texas and has almost all of the registrations showing it's history.

The original Sierra Grain leather is intact front to back. This has been a garage-kept vehicle and it shows. The instruments are functional along with the 8-track AM/FM stereo & power antenna. The air conditioning is in need of service, not blowing cold currently.

Plush Tangier carpeting was standard in the Elegante.

Under the hood is the original 350 fuel-injected V8 engine. With new electronic fuel injection technology, horsepower was at 170 now. This 5.7 liter powerplant runs smooth and is paired with the factory TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine compartment displays its original components throughout, its clean survivor condition is indicative of the low 39,171 miles.

The door undersides are clean and solid as is the underbody.

The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with original spare inflatabletire/wheel, jacking equipment and mat.
We have an extra set of 4 NOS wire wheels that are included along with their center hubs. Also included are and extra grill and an extra dash which would need to be painted.
Enjoy the remaining photos and again feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.

The owner has the Cadillac pen and one still in the box for this console writing desk.

The undercarriage is in very good condition.
