Up for auction is an absolutely immaculate 1965 Cadillac Coupe Deville. This car is in unbelievable condition for its age and shows incredibly well. This was an original California car until 2012 when it was brought to Northern Idaho. This car was always stored indoors and maintained meticulously throughout its lifetime. The interior of this car is in excellentcondition. The carpets have absolutely no ripping or disintegration of the threads and show very well. The dash pad appears as new with no cracking or fading anywhere and the metal part of the dashbeneath thewindshield has no fading or rust with excellent original paint. The gauge bezel is free of any pitting and all of the gauges have virtually no fading to the painted needles or gauge faces. The seats are in excellentcondition and the rear package tray appears as new. The car is equippedwith factory A/C, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, power windows, power antenna, power seat, electric clock, dual note horn, auto-dimming headlights, and factory A/M F/M radio. All of these items are still in working order aside from the driver's side wing window, which likely has a bad connection. The radio gets excellent reception and sounds crystal clear. The A/C was converted to R-134-A and the compressor clutch still engages smoothly. The exterior of the car is incredibly straight. The body gaps are virtuallyperfect with no misalignment. The hood, doors, and trunk open and close like a new car. The car is 100% rust free, never having any rustrepairedpreviously. The car has had one repaint in the original color and shows very well. There are a few smallroadchips on the hood and a couple fine surface scratches throughout, but no major blemishes anywhere. All of thestainless and chrome trim on the car is virtually perfect with nearly no pitting oneither of the bumpers, grille, tail light bezels, headlight bezels or body side moldings. The undercarriage is very dry and 100% rust free. The floor pans, rockers, rear quarters, front fenders and trunk pan are all solid as a rock. Theoriginal 429 engineremains in the car and runs well. When starting this car it does not have even the slightest valve train tick as most of these cars do. The valve cover gaskets and water pump have been replaced recently. Themotor isextremely clean and does not have any excessiveoil orgrease buildup anywhere. All of thefactoryoriginal decalsremain under the hood and in the door jambs. Theoriginal sparewheel and jack remain in the trunk along with the original jacking instructions fastened to the trunk lid. The original owner's manual, vinyl carrying case, and a set of original keys with the knockouts still remain with the car. The original California black plates and registration cards from 1974 and 1975 come with the car, although the car is currently titled in Idaho. This is an incredible example of an original Coupe Deville and will not disappoint.
