Description

Introduction
Hello, my name is Matthew. I am selling my 1985 Cadillac Seville. While I love the vehicle, I am in the position of moving and need a vehicle with a little bit more utility. I am the second owner of the vehicle and have owned it for the past 10 years. Of note, this vehicle has been heavily modified, upgraded, and maintained. If you are looking for a "straight off the line" Cadillac this is not the auction for you. And while I believe the upgrades do nothing but make the vehicle a nicer ride...I guess we all have our opinions.
As far as this auction is concerned, I will give an overall condition rating and notes on three primary areas of the vehicle: Mechanical, Exterior, and Interior. Let's start with mechanical.
Mechanical
Overall Condition: 8.25/10
Notes:
106119 original miles.
New radiator.
Brakes serviced and replaced last year.
Transmission service was done appx. 3 months ago.
Custom exhaust. Note: I had a performance exhaust put on the Caddy about 7 years ago. I forget brand name, but with the custom exhaust and chrome tips cost me about $2300.
New, heavy duty battery installed about 4 months ago.
Exterior
Overall Condition: 6.75/10
Notes:
This portion of the vehicle needs the most work. She still looks very pretty after a wash, but no doubt the exterior is the weakest of the three areas for this vehicle.
New Vogue white wall tires were put on this vehicle about 6000 miles ago.
Original Tru-Spoke brand wire rims. These are in fair condition, though the "caps" could use replacing and have some dings. The spokes themselves have some rust, but isn't noticeable unless closely inspected.
Hood ornament has been replaced. Original is gold in color and available on eBay. However, I feel the chrome looks good as well as it better matches the chrome accents.
Bumper filler needs to be replaced.
Paint overall, especially with key damage, could be replaced.
Windows are tinted to maximum allowed in the state of Oregon.
Interior
Overall Condition: 8/10
Notes:
Full leather interior in good shape.
Headliner was replaced about 6 years ago and looks fresh and secured to the ceiling of the cabin.
Sun visors need some work and they don't like staying in place.
Vehicle has keyless entry installed, but the door locking mechanisms need to be replaced to allow this to be fully functional. They're just a little too stiff. I don't see this as taking major work, but as is...this is where the locks are.
Panasonic AVH-X7800BT 7" Touch Screen Flip Out Media player. This includes Blue Tooth connectivity, as well as a microphone installed near the drivers side window to allow for hands free phone calls while driving.
2 10" Alpine Subwoofers with box. All car audio in this vehicle was professionally installed in Eugene, OR by Brad's Car Tunes.
Slight show of wear on the car's interior, and there are some things that need secured/replaced. The drivers side door for example needs the control panel to be secured.
The passenger side window is secured in the "UP" position. To be fully functional, the window regulator I believe needs to be replaced.
Conclusion
Overall, it's a nice Cadillac and hope it can find a nice home. I have listed everything to the best of my knowledge, if you have any questions please let me know and I will try my best to answer them. Thank you for looking and good luck.
