Description

1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado.
It has a 472 cid engine and automatic transmission, both were rebuilt in 1999. It has a new dual exhaust. Other items that have been recently replaced are tires, shocks, carburetor and fuel filter. just performed a complete tune up to include new spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Also upgraded to a Pertronix electronic ignition. All fluids have been change as well as the transmission has had a complete service.
The car was repainted several years ago, looks good from a short distance but is in fair condition with some fading on the top facing surfaces. The paint has normal nicks and dings. There is some bubbling on the A pillars and various other place on the car. No rust holes are visible but it does have very little rust.
The interior is in great shape for its age. The front and rear seats panels have been replaced with black velour, there is some fading on the top of the rear seat. The dash and door panels are the original and in presentable condition. Headliner is original with no tears or rips. The carpet is nice as well.
Heater blows hot in the winter and the AC is cold in the summer. Power windows all work as well as the power antenna. The original AM radio turns on but does not play.
Front bumper and stainless trim is in good shape, having never been re-chromed. Rear bumper has a small dent near the license plate opening, easily fixed. .The original owners manual is in the glove box.
Also included with the car are new CV axles and a complete brake upgrade kit. Too many projects, just haven't had time to install.
Keep in mind this Eldorado is not a show car and is not perfect, it is 48 years old. I would consider it a reasonably unmolested survivor car that can be driven and or restored. The interior is very nice and the drive train is solid. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
