1985 Cadillac Eldorado - Triple Maroon - 15K Miles

Car has not yet turned 15K miles. I purchased this vehicle almost 5 years ago and at that time it had under 9K miles. Condition of the paint, motor and interior are in excellent condition to the point that I believe the mileage to be correct.. Paint is 70% original. Shortly after I bought the car someone hit the driver siderear panel. Damage was minor but fender was repainted and matches 100%. The people that do all body work for me said thetrunk had been repainted but did appear to have any damage. Pictures you see were taken a couple years ago. Once we get some sunshine I will get more up to date pictures. Only blemish on the car is the front bumper fillers. A new set of 4 bumper fillers will come with the car. Will have to primed and painted. There is one ding on the passenger side roof from a road rock....was on the car when I got it. Car was sold in Chicago but spent most of its life in New York City. They lived in the City and only used the car when grocery shopping etc. Was passed down the family a couple of times....eventually to a gentleman in the Detroit area. He trailered the carfrom NY to MI. He had the Rolls radiator put on which makes it a little unique. I have one piece of the original chrome....he said thatwas all of it. I doubt that. I replaced the AM/FM radio with a Pioneer CD Player. It has a remote. The original radio will go with the car. I replace the headliner a couple of years ago. The Power Antennae was broken. It has been replaced and does work. At one point I replaced the fuel pump. Air Conditioner was converted to the new era freon. Recently I had all the transmission and engine seals replaced.....$2,400. I have the original window sticker....it shows its age. Also have the original owners manual and the Pioneer Radio manual. The car also comes with a car cover. Everything on the car works. Speed control, air conditioning, etc. Tires are in good condition. The wire wheel covers are also in good condition. Car comes with a unique alarm system that was installed in Chicago. I have never seen one like it. It has a key that inserts in the driver side fender to alarm the car. There is also a switch under the dash that you can test the alarm. It is a siren and it is loud. Even some older Cadillac mechanics have not seen this type of alarm.There is no remote....hence the switch under the dash. The original carpeted floor mats are in great condition. I have put clear floor mats over the mats to protect them. It drives just the way it did when it rolled out the showroom door. There is no play in the steering and it tracks great. As the side windows are not inside a frame there is some air noise at higher speeds. The car has been garaged all of its life, and I doubt that it was driven in bad weather very often. I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country. As usual with these larger Cadillacs they truly cruise down the road. The pillows on the rear seat do come with the car. Nice touch. I am selling this car as I have reached the age where I can not keep up with the 3 vehicles I have. Car has been driven often enough to keep it ingood running condition.
