Description

I bought this in the fall from the estate of the former owner. I knew the family well, and they knew I was a "car guy". It has been in a heated garage for 13 years. No rust! It needed 4 new tires, new battery, new gas tank, new fuel sending unit,new exhaust system, oxygen sensor, all fluids and filters changed, tune up and front to rear examination. This car was the old fellow's pride and joy. He drove his truck and saved this for special occasions. The velour interior has zero burns, rips, stains, tears or loose buttons. The driver's seat barely looks like it has been sat in. No cracks to dash--everything shiny, bright and clean. The headliner is tightly in place with no sagging, cuts, "bubbles" or stains. Vinyl padded grained Landau top is also perfect. Chrome is near perfect. No evidence of any prior wrecks, but the right side has been repainted in the past for some reason. The bumper spacers were brittle and cracked so I had a body shop repaint and install new fiberglass ones that will last forever. Overall the paint is still shiny and nice. The hood and, to some extent, the trunk is duller than the rest and may benefit from a buffing. Trunk floor looks like new. I pulled back part of the carpet to show. This car runs exceptionally well. It glides over bumps flawlessly, like a Cadillac! No rattles or noises. Smooth, quiet engine. I replaced both front door rubber weatherstripping to reduce road noise, as the original ones were hard and cracked. Every thing works: cruise, antenna, climate control, mirrors, exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, door courtesy lights, multiple seat adjustments, emergency brake. I have not checked the cassette or the engine bay light. Comes with owner's manual original to this car, spare tire.I have no doubt that any mainland US buyer can drive this car home from Charleston, West Virginia where the car is.You can fly in (CRW) and I can pick you up at the airport and then you can drive it home. If the winning buyer cannot inspect the car before bidding, and you come to pick it up and are not happy for any reason, then I will refund the deposit and cancel the sale. There is no doubt in my mind that the winning bidder will be very happy with this car.
