Description

For sale a very nice show quality Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. 1977 next to last year. Highly optioned including sun roof, dual power seats, no tears, original leather, power trunk pull down, and all the usual Cadillac power ammenities. Paint, interior, and chrome are all ultra clean.

True 28,285 miles – and it shows. Look at the pics – judge for yourself.

AC works. New Hankook tires 235/75 R15 in the last few months, less than 500 miles.

What does this car need – a steering wheel repair to the foil / insert as shown in the photos, and an adjustment to the power antenna (seems they all fail, doesn’t it). That’s it.

Offered with no reserve at $125 starting price to cover cost of listing.

This is a used vehicle, and is sold as is, where is. I am a private individual selling from my collection which needs whittling down.

I had almost 20 cars, now selling the last few – saved the best for last.

Provenance:
Originally purchased by Jerry Johnson of Sioux City, Iowa on July 6, 1977 as the first of many his / her Cadillacs for himself and his wife. While over the years he owned many Cadillacs, he never got rid of this his first one. Driven regularly for two summers, then only occasionally driven but mostly stored. Jerry passed away in 2017.
Purchased as the second owner (me) via intermediary estate sale agent.
Original owner's manual, and proof of original transaction.

I am adding this note:

This car is NOT stripped of parts. It is not a rusty bucket. The Biarritz has great near excellent paint and chrome, on the others the paint is decent and looks good from ten feet. . As each sits it’s an occasional special occasion machine, and is a great candidate for a full restoration. It runs and drives. The condition is between that of #3 and #4 if you were to look at the publication “Old Car Report”.

As a 40+ year old car I would caution you that all the rubber on the car, including the tires (unless specifically stated that they have been replaced), all the hoses – whether water, A/C, or vacuum, and all rubber or rubber like seals will probably need to be replaced. The A/C when charged runs cold in each case. That does not mean I promise you that it will hold a charge – simply that it has for the last two months. The tops on the convertibles work. The power windows work. None of the cruise controls work – my guess is vacuum lines need replacement – but I don’t know for sure.

They all look nice and all will need work.

The value assigned to the convertibles is between $7800 for a #4, to $17,500 for a #3. I would judge each convertible as being a $10,000 value if I were buying it, and is about what I paid for each of them.

The value assigned to the coupes is $3800 (#4) - $8550 (#3) for the 1976 Blue and 1977 White coupes both. I would judge the coupes as being a $5000 value for the blue coupe, and a $9500 value for the white Biarritz, and is about what I paid for them.
