1976 ORIG CALIF OWNER RARE FUEL INJECTION CONVERTIBLE WITH 16K ORIG MILES!
Description
Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

V8 engine with only 16K original miles and the rare $647 option highly desirable Bendix electronic fuel injection system which added 25 bhp to the 8.2 litre 500 c.i.d. engine for a much more desirable 215 bhp engine compared to the other models and original factory options including power soft top, automatic climate control, soft ray glass, steel belted radial white wall tires, power door locks, Sierra leather upholstery, 6 way driver power seat adjuster, high energy ignition, digital clock, auto level control, automatic transmission, power steering, power windows, dual power brakes, 4 wheel disc brakes and factory installed options including tilt and telescope steering wheel, remote control trunk lock, carpeted floor mats, twilight sentinel, rear window defogger, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirror, illuminated entry system, automatic door locks and original AM/FM radio & 8 track cassette player with a power antenna and the rare and highly desirable factory parade boot!
It is in absolutely gorgeous condition throughout and is obviously an always garaged car! The car is very striking in its original factory 'Phoenican Ivory' (Color Code 52) color paint with its all original 'Light Ivory & Gold' (Trim Code 532) color keyed supple Sierra grain leather interior with rare factory option of 50/50 Dual Comfort seats with individual fold down armrests and 6 way power seat adjuster on both drivers and passsengers side and an as new 'White' color power soft top with a glass rear window and its original matching color 'Phoenician Ivory' factory option parade boot. Remember, this is the last and most desirable year of this legendary classic Cadillac with the rare and highly desirable fuel injection engine and only one southern California since new!
This particular single owner example has always been pampered and has lived its entire life in a garage in southern California and has only 16K original miles and is in absolutely pristine condition. Obviously an always garaged car without any sun damage or rust whatsoever! The whole car is completely rust, accident and sun damage free - a highly cherished example with it's dramatically contrasting and very rare factory color combination of original factory 'Phoenician Ivory' with its all original and gorgeous 'Light Ivory over Gold' color keyed Sierra leather interior. Cadillac introduced a new softer, suppler and 'shirred' 'Sierra Grain' leather interior in 1975 with the shirring technique gathering material into rows which creates wrinkles and folds that essentially have invisible seams. The leather for 1975/6 is noticeably thinner and softer when compared to earlier Cadillac leathers however, when properly cared for, it retains its softness and flexibility and is known to wear better than other leathers. This is the last and most desirable year of this legendary classic Cadillac.
The car looks unbelievably striking in this very rare color combination and all the options are working as they should including all the power windows and the power soft top, the radio/8 track cassette and the A/C. The car has four practically new whitewall tires and has its original spare wheel with jack still located in the trunk along with the factory parade boots in their original protective covers. The original electronic throttle bodied fuel injection system engine with only 16K original miles is extremely strong and powerful and this particular car drives absolutely magnificently and must be driven to be appreciated and seen to be believed - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable car that must drive almost exactly as when it left the showroom floor almost forty years ago and which needs nothing but a new proud owner!
This is a rare opportunity to own a completely unabused example of an always garaged 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible with the rare and highly desirable and collectible fuel injection engine with absolutely no history of any rust or accidents in this rare and absolutely striking and gorgeous of original color combinations with only 16K original miles! This is also the most desirable last year of production of this decades last mass produced drop-top; a great investment that's sure to appreciate over the years for any American classic car collector of obviously any Cadillac enthusiast!
