Description

You are bidding on an insane BEAST of a car.......It is a big project. The Caddilac is exactly as I picked it up we nicknamed her.....CADZILLA...... I know, not original but it fits.......
The guy I got it from basically welded the Caddy frame to a Chevy truck chassis
and that is as far as he got. He welded the two frames together with steel channels and heavy tubing.I moved it from its last home to my yard four years ago and that's as far as I got...
I was planning on going a slightly different route. I planned on ditching the current chassis and swapping it out to one more suited to safer road driving and some mildly crazy off road abuse.
I have a lifted mid 80’s suburban chassis with a 700R4 automatic transmission that I can include with the winning bid.The plan was to pull the Caddy body off of the existing chassis and mount it directly to the suburban chassis eliminating the second frame and do the Caddy the right way.
I have made crazy 4x4 creations before. You can check you-tube for "1932 Jaguar mad max Frankencar" as an example of the last 4x4 I built. It's just a short clip of it leaving my driveway but you will get the idea of how crazy these things can get.Again, I picked it up four years ago and as things go haven't touched it since .... I'm just too busy with everything to get my own projects done so it has to go.......
Now as it sits....
It holds a current CA title in my name and has been non-opped so there are no late penalties, registered as a 63' cadillac so no CA smog ever.
It never has to pass CA smog so you can put any engine combination in it..... It's actually begging for aCUMMINS.....
The current motor is a 454 out of a motorhome it was reported to me that the engine had 65k miles on it when it was pulled.. It is just sitting in the engine bay, I was going to go for a lopey cam SBC. Again the engine is not connected...it is just sitting in the engine bay.
The steering is not connected.
The brakes are not connected
The transmission is not connected. There is some kind of manual trans mounted in the frame right now.
The wiring is not connected
Using the Suburban chassis easily solves almost all of the brake, steering
and transmission issues
It looks like most of the trim and missing panels are in the trunk.
It has leather interior that the mice have wrecked, but it has a cool patina, plush and crappy at the same time.
The drivers floor is rusted but a patch panel is available from e-bay cheap
or use the road sign that is currently in place, and did i mention it smells.
if you have a place to work on it and the time it will be an awesome ride.If It doesn’t sell I’ll probably eventually end up building it and drive it till
someone else wants it more, which always happens. So now is your chance to get it cheap. Once it is a runner it's going to get expensive.
If you are interested in the suburban chassis it will be included free with the winning bid. The catch is if you want it you have to remove it first and completely. (it will be empty, the doors, dash and side windows are already gone)...... If you don't want it, no big deal.
If you are going with the 454 I will also be selling a set of rectangle heads with a matching WEIAND dual Tunnel ram set up.....These will be available to the winning bidder at a lower price than when they get listed later.
Please ask all questions prior to bidding. LOOK CLOSELY at the pictures, If you need specific pictures let me know.Ask you wife if it's O.K. BEFORE you bid, Check shipping costs BEFORE you bid.........Thanks and get ready to have fun...!!!!!!!
