Description

1948 Cadillac Series 61 Sedan, This a completely original running & driving car. It is presently licensed in Wyoming. It has a 346 flathead V8 with a hydromatic automatic 4 speed transmission. The Passenger front fender has been replaced, there is one small rust spot on the new fender. The car has been partially rewired, but still has minor wiring problems with the turn signals - I believe this to be a grounding issue but haven’t been able to locate it yet. The brakes have been completely rebuilt, and it has a new muffler. I bought it from the original family. I am the second owner. I have the original owners manual, original key, fender skirts, and 4 original hub caps that will go with the car. The floors and trunk are rust free. The engine runs great but does have some small oil leaks and could use re-sealed. The trunk latch is broken. We have driven it around town with no problems at all. All of the curved glass is good with no cracks or chips, but 2 of the 4 side windows are cracked & will need replaced - any glass shop should be able to make the flat glass for you. This would be an amazing car to restore, there were only 5,081 ever produced. This was the first body change post WWII, and it was a shortened production period of only 8 months. The car has a clean title in our possession. More pictures available on request, for more information call 269-832-8505.
