This Cadillac Eldorado Sport Convertible was originally finished in Copper Metallic with Beige leather and a White top. It is one of 3,950 examples built for the 1955 model year and is powered by a 331ci V8 backed by a recently rebuilt Hydra-Matic 4-speed transmission.
The single-stage Centauri black repaint was completed years ago and looks very good. The body is straight.
30 years ago the convertible top was replaced with a factory-correct white unit, which remains water-tight.The top’s hydraulics are in good working order.
This Eldorado has been fitted with gold Sabre wheels from a 1956 model, which are shod in whitewall tires.
Inside, this Cadillac has been reupholstered in new vinyl that matches the original Beige hue and pattern. The odometer shows 6,200 miles, with total mileage unknown.
