Description

1939 Cadillac 60 Special Town Car by Derham Body. This car is one of 5 produced. This car is said to have been owned by the William Wrigley family in Chicago, and used as their Opera car. However I do not have any documentation to that fact. The car has open Chauffeur compartment with division window. The car was body off restored in the early 80’s, then sold to another restorer who put in a Chevy engine, and automatic transmission along with power brakes, power steering, and rear air conditioning. Nothing was cut, and wheels, brake drums, suspension, and rear end are original. So if you wish, you could put it back to original with a weeks work. I have included a photo of the car from the early 70's in original unrestored condition.

I have another Running 1939 Cadillac 60 Special that isavailableif you want to switch back to original.

This car was put in storage in the mid 80’s until now.The car has a spot where the paint is bad right where you put in the gas, and a cracked window. This is one nice, rare Cadillac. You can drive this car for pleasure or start a limo service, or change back to original and show.An original one was at Hershey last year. They were asking 85k and it did sell. I have known and followed this car since the 1970’s.I might take part trade.
