When MCA passed some homies did graffiti tribute murals in LANone were done in N, I knew something special had to be done in NY specifically BrooklynBeing around the car biz specifically classics and around the music biz specifically classic hiphop with several close friends currently or formerly in big name groups I decided to combine the twoI used The BrooklynWay Caddy that was previously used in a couple of music videos and a Cable network showWrapped the car with Beastie photos and logos and added a small Jam Master jay tribute photo as well as I thought it was only fittingAfter the car debuted at a Beastie walking tour event it became the official center piece of the MCADAY Music and Art Tribute eventThe car has been signed by artist whose worked I used and musicians who appear on the car or in the case of JMJ his sonsI can go on but that's the short version R.I.P MCA Loved and Missed

Janette Beckman says "One afternoon DS rolled up to my place in his beautiful 1976 Cadillac. The ‘BKLYNWAY/BEASTIECADDY‘ is covered in photos of the Beastie Boys, as a fan described it “ain’t enough o’s in smooooooth!” DS created this art piece to honor the passing of MCA who sadly died in May 2012. Coincidentally Ricky Powell, the man some call ‘the fourth Beastie’, just happened to be passing by – I think MCA would be be looking down smiling.
