1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, 2 door coupe. Amazing condition throughout. '69 Coupes are hard to find and this automobile is as nice as you will ever discover. Both the 472 CU, 375 HP V8 and the three speed automatic Turbo HydraMatic transmission operate very, very well and smoothly. This car is an absolute pleasure to drive; it is loaded with countless original options. Climate control AC, AM Wonderbar radio, power antenna, courtesy lights, power steering with rim blow horn, power brakes, power windows, power seats, etc., etc. All are in working order. Car has always been meticulously maintained (new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder and a rebuilt alternator were installed less than a few hundred miles ago). Cooling system was flushed and oil/filter were changed also. A new battery was just installed.
Extremely clean (near mint) maintained original cabin and trunk interiors (the original spare tire and equipment are still present in the trunk as well as the original owner's manual in the glove box)! Wow! The exterior is in extremely beautiful condition (paint finish appears to be all original - very hard to tell if it was ever repainted?) despite a couple of small blemished areas in paint. The lower 1/3rd of the passenger door may need to be looked at/repainted (fair to poor older repair by previous owner).
Even though the car may not be in perfect, brand new (or 100 point) condition/appearance, it is none the less gorgeous, nearly mint (in my opinion) and with (unbelievably) only 48,800 miles! It is ready to be thoroughly enjoyed as is as an awesome cruiser, desirable collector. automobile and super cool car show automobile.
Quite reasonably priced (several thousand dollars less than the advertised Hagerty Value for a comparable car in very good to excellent condition AND several times less than restoration costs (and the drama) in order to obtain a similarly awesome '69 Cadillac Coupe), this collection grade automobile is most affordable and all ready to go and be enjoyed.
