1963 CADILLAC DEVILLE COUPE NEW PICTURES ADDED 1-2-19!!
Description
This Beautiful Cadillac was purchased new in San Mateo, California in 1963. The buyer used it to commute one and one-half miles each way to and from his TV store. He always garaged it. Through a marriage, it came into my family, and finally into my hands. It was always garaged until fall 2017, when I had to move it to the driveway to make room in the garage for another car that I was restoring. It did wear a car cover last winter.
This one is original - the paint is original! It has never been restored, never in an accident. It is a deluxe model, with leather upholstery and air conditioning, which needs a recharge, as well as power seats, windows, door locks, and tilt steering wheel. All windows are original, and have no cracks . Both front and rear bumpers are original, and the chrome is intact. See the pictures. In the early 1970's it made a flawless round trip to Florida and back to southern California. In 2000, it moved to Idaho, on a car trailer.
It has always been driven by adults - never hot-rodded, although it has that ability with the 390 engine. The tires have about 1,000 miles on them - we did drive it a little up here. The original spare tire is in the trunk, where we were thinking of putting in a Pool Table! It comes with the original Owner's Manual, and other original paperwork.
