1993 Cadillac Allante Convertible NO RESERVE!
Description
NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a very nice, but not perfect 1993 Cadillac Allante. This car shows well for a 26 year old antique car. It has, to my knowledge, been kept under roof since new. This car cranks, runs, drives, shifts, and stops as it should. The motor sounds good, with no knocks, pings, or rattles. It does, however, have the typical Northstar oil pan oil leak. This will need to be addressed before making any long trips. I have changed the O-rings in the oil filter adapter, and the oil lines. I have also put both new upper motor mounts, and one new lower motor mount on the car. A new transmission mount is included with the car. The engine has no overheating issues. The body is totally rust free, as are the floor pans and undercarriage. The body, with exception of a few pings, is free of dents. The paint shows well for it's age. It has a few chips and small scratches. Some light fading. Nothing horrible. The top is in good condition. It has one small worn spot on the top rear. I have never had the car in the rain, and the prior owner had it since 2002, and stated that he never had it in the rain, so I can't say if the top itself leaks or not. It doesn't when I wash it. It will leak a little around the door windows if sprayed directly, as the side cables need replacing (around $35 on eBay). The weather striping needs replacing on both door windows and window pillars. The interior is in very good condition. The seats are free of any rips, tears, snags, or stains. The carpet is good and clean. The dash is not cracked, but is faded. It needs to be dyed. All of the lights and gauges work, with the exception of the tachometer light. The tachometer itself does work as it should. The radio works, as does the A/C and heat. The power seats work as well. The electric front pull downs on the top work. I attach the rear manually. Inside the trunk looks as very good. The tires are 80% to the good. I am trying to be as descriptive as possible, as I do not want any surprises. I have perfect feedback, and intend to keep it that way. I urge you to make arrangements to come look for yourself, or send a representative to do so on your behalf. Now for the auction particulars;- If you have a feedback score of less than 20 or less than 100% positive, do not bid on this item until you have message me and received a response.
