1978 Coupe deVille 64,800 miles -- NO RESERVE!

You're looking at one of the nicest, low-mileage Cadillac Coupe deVilles currently for sale. This gorgeous triple blue coupe has been well maintained and obviously garaged throughout its life thus far. Mechanically, this Cadillac is rock solid and is a very reliable driver. It is not currently driven daily, but that's only because work pays me to take public transportation. The engine is quiet, smooth and doesn't leak -- the transmission shifts are smooth with no slipping. Steering is easy, tight, and noise free, and the car tracks straight down the road when accelerating, cruising, and braking. This car does feature the factory alarm, but it was bypassed long ago (completely intact).

Recent maintenance items completed in the last 600 miles:

The paint is in excellent shape and shows incredibly well even though it's 100% original. Sure, there are a few tiny imperfections that come along age (small scratches here and there), but no rust or dents anywhere! The body is incredibly straight with no wavy lines; the doors, hood, and the trunk open and close perfectly with no misalignment or drooping due to worn hinges. The only thing needed is a new lower license plate filler (below the reverse lights) and a trunk lock cover/crest (it sits crooked due to the internal stop being broken). The car was fully protected by Ziebart from the factory (I have all paperwork).

The interior is about as perfect as you will find on a Cadillac of this era. The fake wood is absolutely perfect with zero fading or scratching and the cloth d'Elegance seats have not even a hint of wear. The steering wheel is 100% crack free with all the fake wood insert fully intact. As is common on almost every single '77 or '78, the horn pad wood surround has a couple cracks but is fully intact (reproductions can be ordered from Honest John's Caddy Corner). Carpet is stain-free and still soft. Everything in the interior works (fuel economy monitor lights, gauges, auto climate control, lighting, wipers, horn, etc.), and the original radio works well exactly as it should (power antenna works, signal seeking works, etc.). The A/C is still R12 and is COLD. The original headliner has a couple bubbles in it, but doesn't hang down.
