Description

1950 Cadillac Sedan.
Up for auction is this unfinished project, clear California title. The car has a solid frame, good body, lots of useable/restorable chrome parts, and nice dash. Glass is complete, except for front windshield, and comes with almost all new weather striping. The car looks to have had an older refurbished gas tank and radiator, and comes with a new water pump. Carpets and seats have new material (foam and padding too). Engine is matching numbers, couldn't get it to turn over by hand.....but I didn't try too hard (had not got around to lubricating the cylinders first). Frame looks solid, poor to average paint job.......I can see filler and probably some rust repair. Overall, the body is not bad (there is some rust through on drivers side floor, the bottom of some of the doors and some in the trunk). Many of the parts on the car have been minimally installed to show that they are with the car and where they go on the car. It has the fender skirts too, hubcaps are not original.
The car is sold as-is and as equipped. However, you are welcome to come see and/or have the car inspected before the end of the auction. Payment is due in full within seven days of the end of the sale. California buyers and all in-state sales are subject to sales tax, doc., & lic. fees. In California, all vehicles over ten years old are sold miles 'exempt', the actual mileage is unknown on this car. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.
