Description

Heres your chance to own the most popular Cadillac of 1968. A true 60's steel slab out of Detroit that had a Future Flagship 472 V-8 motor built to rival the Lincoln Continental and easily outclassed with its chrome trim details and luxurious interior. This car floats down the road as smoothly as all the stories said it did back in the day. If you are as excited as I am to have always wanted to own a piece of American Automotive History, then now is your chance. I would love to see this project completed. This Cadillac originally spent its life in the State of New York, and then found its way to Vermont where it was saved from a junkyard and then again from becoming a Derby car. Fortunately it landed in a good home in New Hampshire in incredible shape with all mechanicals and body work to be addressed. Everything is original to the car including the Cadillac Grey paint, which at some point was reapplied. The original carburetor and air cleaner, along with jack and fender skirts and all chrome details are present. All that is left on this car to become a show car is cosmetic and requires paint and body work. The original interior is in great shape no holes, tears or sagging in the head liner, minor seat wear and driver side wear to foam. Door and Dash panels in great shape for restoration. This car is ready to cruise as is and it will be missed. Unfortunately retirement plans have dictated the end of ownership and full intent of restoration. Its ready for the next level and a new owner who will take it there. I started out with all the mechanical items first. New shocks, brakes(shoes), cylinders, water pump, fuel pump, holley carburetor, gas lines, exhaust, tires, lights, electrical, etc. I then enjoyed driving it, looking at it, sharing stories about those days. I had great memories in 68 for hopes of owning this car someday and I now that I have, it is time for someone else to enjoy it as well. Please look closely at the photos as there is no intent to mislead anyone. I have detailed photos showing the areas that need attention. This car will be missed but appreciated when it goes to the new owner. Thank you
