We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer’s Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it’sthe buyer’s responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can’t make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car.
If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer’s responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 781-763-7447 Ext. 208. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you're buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you'd like to call him for a price, that would be fine.
All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don't have enough space to store everyone's car after they're paid for. It's the buyer's responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer's side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven't purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you're a zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us.
Thank you for looking at our classic 1967 Cadillac Coupe DeVille convertible. It starts and runs great, and has a lot of new parts like shocks, newer exhaust, tune-up, battery, and much more. The convertible top is in good shape and it works correctly, sometimes just a little slow. The interior we believe to be all original and the pictures show exactly what it is. We think it's in great shape for being 53 years old. The trunk's all solid, the engine compartment is all solid and in great shape, and the underneath of the vehicle is as solid as a rock. It's rare to find one as nice as this one is. It even includes the cobweb in the picture!
The chrome front and back we believe to be in really nice condition. All options work as far as we know, including the air, but the vent vacuum isn't popping up, so that will need to be looked at by the new owner. But the compressor does turn on and get cold. We bought this car about 300 miles away and drove it home very smoothly on the freeway. Then we had it serviced, clean and it looks as nice as it does today.
The story with the car is that we bought it from a gentleman whose uncle bought the car from an estate around 2000. He bought the car with 17K actual miles, but being that it was from an estate, he wasn't able to be there to verify the miles, and because of this, the state wrote down 17K miles exceeded. Today, the car has 19K miles and the guy who is 96 years old is no longer driving it. He only put 2K miles on in the last 20 years, and in the past 10 years he drove it very little. So the title will read 119K miles, the same as when I purchased it. A car that's 53 years old should have 100K miles on it, but this is just the story I was told, and considering the condition of the car, it could be true. We'd also like to mention that there's 283 more photos in the Flickr slideshow below to view so you can familiarize yourself with every inch of the car, inside and out.
The tires, brakes, engine, and transmission are all in good shape. If you can stop by and take it for a test drive, then you'll know how well it really runs. There's no noises in the rear end. Even the radio works. This is a no reserve auction, which means this car will be sold to the last highest bidder when the auction is over in seven days. So be that high bidder and you'll have a beautiful Cadillac convertible to drive anyplace and everyplace you want to go. If you're ready to go cruising, just put the top down and cruise into seventh heaven!
