At Carstore we are pleased to offer this 1939 Cadillac Series 61 Convertible right out of a local Museum. Cadillac had a new look in 1939 with a slightly raked prow-shaped vertical radiator flanked by grills in the catwalk area between the front fenders and main nose section. Headlights were higher and closer the the central grille. The dash was redesigned and a higher rear axle rotation center was added to enhance ride comfort. Style number on the Cadillac is 39-6129. This is a fine example of a antique that has been in a climate controlled environmentfor over 10 years. The only reason for selling the Cadillac is it is a duplicate and they want to add a different automobile.

The previous owner wanted to create a ideal parade car and restored the Cadillac uniquely with two-tone paint and custom interior. This gives the Cadillac a great look while maintaining the classic styling of the car. As you can see in the photos the results are outstanding. Here is your opportunity to own a true Classic Cadillac with very low productions numbers (ONLY 5,913 Cadillac Convertibles were produced in 1939) and own it well below the cost of a restoration. The power planton the Cadillac is a 346 cu in engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. The Cadillac is in good condition mechanicallywith a new wiring harness, new brakes, and because this Cadillac was meant to be on the road radial tires were installed. Miles showing on the Cadillac are 37,768, but we cannot verify if they are actual.

The paint shines nicely and is of good quality. The convertible top is in excellent condition, works perfectly, and is easy to lower. The interior still shows like it just came from the upholsteryshop. The chrome and stainless are in good condition as well.
