Description

Oh well I guess these things happen. I sold this car last weekend...and the buyer has failed to pay. What a shame. Gorgeous Allante for $2,000. We had over 300 views and 27 watchers on the listing. So it is going to sell. Bid with confidence and notice my 100% satisfaction rating oneBay. I am so confident in this car, I will offer to drive it to the winning bidder within 500 miles of Cleveland for gas and toll money!
Gorgeous Pearl White 1989 Cadillac Allante with the preferred 4.5 Liter V-8. The body is flawless and the interior is probably a 8 out of 10. Wear on the drivers seat but the passenger is flawless and clearly has been replaced. Carpeting is 10 out of 10 as well as the dash which has no discoloring or sagging.
Here's the great news. What works perfectly: Windows, locks, seats, cruise, top pull down, all dash gauges, Brakes, Bose stereo amps (receiver needs work, power antenna, trunk pull down, engine. New Goodyear Eagles all the way around 10,000 miles ago; and brake master rebuilt 500 miles ago.
Lets talk about the engine: It roars. Goes 0-60 in 7 seconds. There is a warning light on (engine control module) and it has been on for two years. No one seems to know what is is, and the car passed Ohio e-check. Really not worth talking about in this price range.
Bad stuff. Air conditioning does not hold a charge, and the soft black top is in rough shape. It keeps the car dry if you get caught in the rain but it really should be replaced. I have not done it because this is one great summer golf car and I never use the soft top. The leather and carpet are stunning other than the outer bolster on the drivers side. All seat buttons work perfectly.
The body is truly flawless. The $700 optional pearl white paint sparkles in the sun; and the $2000 optional hardtop makes the car a show stopper in the grocery store parking lot. People are constantly coming up and asking "is that the new Cadillac?"
Anyhow, selling this for a friend. Check out my 100%eBay rate. If you want a low cost drop dead gorgeous kick around sports car...this is the one for you. You could buy it for around $300, like we did, have a ball driving it for five years, and sell it for around $3000.
Bottom line: You will never find an Allante in this condition for this price. We have just run out of garage space.
Paypal is preferred method of payment.
