1961 Cadillac Fleetwood 9 passanger sedan
Description
Selling due to loss of income. The vehicle has been painted with the roof hood and trunk lid remaining to be cut and buffed. All the trim, door panels, seats and interior parts are all present as far as I can see. It has new drum brakes all around. It has been updated with a two bowl master cylinder and should have a proportioning valve installed. Tires are like new. New bushings and shocks in the front end. Goes down the road straight. The engine runs beautifully, powerful and quiet. I bought this last month and drove it 130 miles home without any issues at all. The vehicle will need an exhaust pipe and proper muffler. Shifts and drives as it should, the transmission fluid looks and smells as it should. All four power windows work. Heater, dash lights, headlights brake lights and driving lights work. It will need a flasher for the signals.Passenger door lock is finicky, trunks power lock mechanism works but the trunk lid will need a lock cylinder. I am unsure if the Autronic eye works. The windshield is in very good condition with no cracks or hazing, the two front drivers flat glasses will need replacing. The trim looks like it's all there and in very good shape. The total number of these produced in 1961 was less than 1000. The interior is all present but will need to be redone. There is one small area on the drivers side floor pan that will need repair. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of auction end with payment due within 72 hours. I'm regularly available to show the vehicle, please come have a look. It is well worth the low starting bid... Please do not bid unless you agree to these terms, and thank you. I reserve the right to end the auction early.
