Recently rebuilt 500ci motor power convertible top
Description
The 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible will always be cherished as the last of the truly large Caddy convertibles. So it's great to have an example with a freshly rebuilt V8 so that you can enjoy this classic cruiser on the open road.
Straight body lines, plenty of chrome, and just a hint of tailfin... we all really love this generation Eldorado. The factory-correct Pueblo Beige is a nice color when the sunlight hits this convertible. This one has a look that will have people asking if it's a survivor. We kind of like that, because 1976 was the final year of the factory-built convertibles. And even when the official aftermarket droptops returned a decade later, it was on a substantially smaller car. So we really view these as the last great Caddy convertible. And that's why it's important the top looks so distinctive. Not only does the brand new black roof look great, but also it coordinates with the black wheel covers to make this Eldorado remain looking upper-class when the roof is in place.
When you put the top down, the Buckskin Tan looks like a coordinating tone with the exterior, but with a deeper tone. So yes, this was born a sophisticated-looking convertible. This has a high-degree of originality, and you can really see it right down to the pleats in the leather seats. These Eldorados were all about comfort. Two wide rows of seating and a nearly flat floor make it inviting for family and friends. But as a personal cruiser, the best features are reserved just for the front. Two individual armrests and power seats mean you'll always have your ideal comfort position. You have power locks, cruise control, new auxiliary readouts, and a tilt steering column. Plus, there are provisions for great factory features like air conditioning. Best of all, power windows and a power convertible top mean you never have to leave the driver's seat whenever you want to be open to the world.
Another reason why we these were the last of the true Caddy droptops has to do with the motor. The 500 cubic-inch V8 is the kind of big engine we want powering a cruiser-grade convertible. So it only get better when you get the proper displacement in a package that was rebuilt only around 100 miles ago! Even new fuel lines were added. It fires up readily and the V8 inhales deeply from the four-barrel carburetor. The three-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly, power steering makes driving effortless, and it rides like a proper cruising Caddy cloud. There are new brakes, and don't forget that this is the only year of these Eldorados to get the superior stopping power of power brakes with discs at all four corners.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, build receipts, and restoration photos. These were built to be cruisers, and this one has the rebuilt V8 to truly uphold that legacy. Call today!!!
