Description
1962 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible. Runs, drives and stops. Engine rebuild in 2013. Car is solid other than the front floor pans (as pictured). All power windows work, original radio works (has to warm up a bit to function), power antenna does not work. All windows and seats work. Haven't tested the cruise control but, it is an option on the car. Newer Optima white wall tires. Chrome is in overall good driver quality shape. Front bumper ends have rust speckles on them and both front and rear bumpers have minor blemishes and bumps. Car is overall very straight, NEEDS PAINT AND INTERIOR. The car runs great, shifts fine once warmed up. If put into gear when cold, it hesitates to get into gear. All lights work, heater works but cables are kind of stiff and could use some greasing. Probably needs new belts as its a little squeaky when running. Top looks to be original. Slow going up and down so top should be bled. Top was last put up in the spring and parked in the barn. Parts in the trunk -fuel pump, complete side moulding stainless is in trunk. Suspension should be greased as well as its a bit noisy when going over speed bumps. Steers straight but has your typical 60yr old slop in the steering. This is a car that can be driven as is with lots of thumbs up, or fully restore as I had planned. Cool car that is getting more and more rare. The sky is the limit with how much these are worth fixed up. Hoping someone with more time and money can give her a makeover. Have a clean Washington State title in hand with the receipts for the engine work.Note all sales are final and car is sold as is, where is and seller makes no guarantees. Prefer to sell to someone who can inspect the car in person. This is 58 years old and needs work.
