Description

1931 Cadillac 355 Coupe - This car was originally modified into a street rod in the early 2000s after spending 30+ years in a barn. In the original modification, the car was painted Blue Onyx. The last picture of the group is a picture of the car taken at a Myrtle Beach car show prior to the most recent modification. The car was outfitted and will be sold with all the following components:
Engine: 2000 GM LSI, 350 Cubic inches 345 horsepower, aluminum heads, stock rotating assembly, stock exhaust manifolds, stainless steel pipes and mufflers.
Drivetrain: Stock Chassis, 129" wheel base, boxed, polished stainless steel Kugel front suspension, Alden coil-overs front and rear, 4L60E transmission, 1970 Monte Carlo differential, custom four link rear suspension.
Body: Steel body, top chopped 2-3/4", converted rumble seat to a trunk, enlarged spare tire carrier, special golf club door behind passenger door.
Interior: Stock Filled Dash, Classic instruments, Vintage air unit, Custom leather seats. Wheels and Tires: Boyd Coddington Stingray Wheels - 18" on the front with 245/4018ZR BF Goodrich radials, rear Coddingtons are 20" with 295/4520ZR BF Goodrich radials.
My father purchased the car in 2004. After many years of pure enjoyment, he decided to do another restoration to bring the car up to the level of perfection he felt it deserved. The second restoration started around 2013. The car was completely disassembled. During the disassemble, it became apparent the car had more body filler and more substandard fabrications than what he felt was acceptable, so he had a good portion of the car re-fabricated. Unfortunately, during the lengthy restoration process, my father developed cancer and passed away. After his death we decided to sell the car as "a work in progress." The second restoration work is top notch. The car will be sold with all the original parts from original restoration ( the list above lists only some of the components). You can reuse these parts or decide to take the car in a completely different direction. The choice is yours. While there will still be some work to complete therestoratio, the car is at a point where you can finish it out to be the car of your dreams

Happy to answer whatever questions I can. Jack
