Up for Action is this ONE FINGER steering...1968 Cadillac convertible Deville to the highest bidder!!Please read the entire description before you bid. We generally restore all of our cars however this car has been started by the previous owner from whom we acquired it. The mechanics of this car appear to be in excellent shape. We have inspected the engine, and find it to have been a completely re-manned long block. Engine and transmission in this car seem to be absolutely perfect. The AC is not hooked up, but appears to be all there. The interior has just recently been all redone with imitation black ostrich material. Carpet has been replaced, dash has two small cracks on either side by the speakers. The car has all brand-new dual exhausted, and the undercarriage is absolutely rust free. The car has had a color change, the original color was a bronze metallic. It has been changed to gloss black. The trunk is in excellent condition, all the lights appear to work. It has had upgraded blue halo headlights installed which do work.. The car starts immediately and run smooth. There was a small oil leak at the power steering pump, but we have replaced the steering pump with new and now there are no leaks. The exterior body appears to be in excellent shape with no signs of major rust There is a little bubbling of the paint by the rear fender skirt but very minor. The black paint job is fair, shines well and looks good. The carburetor has been replaced with a new one and we have hooked up a manual choke system that allows for easy starting. Car has new tires and the brakes work great. This car could easily become a $30,000 car with a little work. Let your conscience be your guide, but check out what these Cadillac convertibles are doing in today's market. Any further questions, feel free to call Glen at 865-805-3186.*. *Window switches were missing when we got the car, have ordered some but have not received them yet. Are unable to check window motor status without switches. When we run a hot wire to them, the motors did engage, But we have not rolled them up and down. The top motor appears to work, but it does have a hydraulic leak which is keeping the top from working. This may be a hose or possibly one of the cylinders. We have currently unhooked the cylinders, and the top goes up and down by hand very easily. This car is not 100% finished, it is still a work in progress. But it is 80% complete. Compare it to other 68 convertables at $30,000+. Car will drive anywhere, and drive beautifully.
Buy it now before its to late!!!!!
