It's a great turn-key cruiser that starts right up every time, idles like a sewing machine, runs like a Cadillac should, and stops on a dime. Power steering and power brakes make driving effortless.The car was always well maintained and it shows -it just recently went through a complete service last year where anything needed was done. Many parts were replaced such as the complete brake system (master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hoses shoes, etc..), complete ignition system (spark plugs, distributor, wires, etc...), carburetor rebuild, rebuilt steering box, new shocks, new starter, converted to hi amp alternator system, new gas tank, new fuel pump, complete new convertible top/back window and headliner, transmission service, complete exhaust system, all belts, all fresh fluids, etc.. All the headlights work, as well as the tail/brake lights, interior lights, turn signals, power seat, horn, etc...The power windows all work, and the power convertible top goes up and down with the press of a button.The body is in great shape. The frame is solid and rust-free, the floors and trunk are solid. The chrome is 90% new including the complete bumpers, and other trim are in very good shape as well with very few minor imperfections from age. New Carpets, with Dynamat insulationunderneath, visors, dashboard, door panels, etc. are all in great shape with minimal wear from use. This car has complete hidden sound system withoriginal looking modernstereo with amp, sub woofer and speakers hidden under the front seat, fully automatic power antenna. It also has the convertible top boot (cover for when the top is down), it fits nicely and does its job. 2 things that the car needs looked at - the wipersdon't work and the A/C needs service and should work with minimal effort.Overall, it's a beautiful Cadillac that's ready to drop the top and go for a cruise across the country. Not a perfect show or museum car, but rather a really, really nice driver that commandsattention and isguaranteed to draw a crowed where ever it goes, something you would be very proud to drive and take to a car show to show it off and you won't be scared to take for a drive and enjoy with the family. As per numerous inquires here's some history on the car:I bought this car from a person in the Midwest. His uncle bought the car new in 1962 and he told me the loved the the car since day one and had fond memories of riding in the car through town with the top down as a kid. About 20 years later his uncle gave him the car, he put the car away and it sat for 20+ years until finally he had time in his life to attend to the car as he always planned. He had the car totally restored to its present condition, unfortunately at that time he was going through a divorce and he had to sell the car. So it was only a one owner/family car prior to my purchasing of the car. Which make it very rare. Also the car still has the original owners manual and convertible top instruction booklet in the glove box.
