Description

Awesome, Big and Classic 1964 Series 62 Cadillac, 428 CID V8 4 door, 6 window hardtop, pillar-less windows, sedan with 61K original and gentle miles! Very similar to the Sedan DeVille. Power locks, seats, windows. In the same family since it was new. Originally purchased in CO, by my great uncle, a Harvard trained MD, who co-pioneered blood typing methods. Needs some TLC including some metal patching near the trim and on the hood, and a fresh paint job as it has developed some rust in a few places since taken to FL. It still gets lots of stares and comments though, and is a total hoot to drive. The floor had a minor flood due to rain. Never tried to clean the stains on the lower doors but imagine they'd come out with an oxygen based cleaner. I always wanted to get this car in buff shape but life kept me from it so it's just the way I got it in 1995 other than the affects of time. This car was started and running smooth as can be in April of this year, but needs some inspections and maintenance before making a cross country trip. Also, someone tried to steal it by unhooking transmission steering column changer linkage so that it couldn't be moved from a lot, that needs to be looked into before driving. Climate Control needs work. Perfect for someone who wants a manageable project. I have the original key, manual and accessory book too! Also, note the original carburetor priming bottle that is mounted under the hood. Selling remotely from CO, but my good friend is ready to finish up the sale. This Cadillac is set to jump on a trailer for restoration or to be enjoyed as is with just a little attention. Will send additional pictures, and respond to questions, and comments ASAP.
