Description

Up for auction is this Classic 1960 Chevrolet Nomad

I’m listing this 1960 Chevrolet Nomad with a Reserve price. It is a very nice driver and has its own classic look, inside and out. It’s a reliable driver and a solid car. I’ll reveal everything as best that I can and will reply to any emails or phone messages as quickly as I can. This Nomad is a smooth running and I think you’ll be pleased with it. Feel free to call 662-560-4609 and leave a message if I don’t pick up or drop me a note through Ebay. I have a few extra pics I can sendtoo. Clear Title.

I will start with the outside. First of all, the car is a classic with a Patina appearance. It has a few spots in need of attention (see pics), but the metal is solid. The body lines are fairly straight however the hood needs alignment with the fenders. The doors close firmly and the rear gate works well, window crank and all. Most of the glass is in good condition, however the passenger a/c window is cracked. The floor pans and body are all in good condition. The windows are all functioning. The headlights, tail/break lights, dome light, etc. all work properly. Horn & wipers works fine too. 15” rims with new Avenger tires. P215/65R15’s on the front, P235/60R15’s on the rear. Spare tire in the back end.

Now for the interior: Bench seats in front and back. Nice cloth seat coverings with a few spots on the back bench seat. Carpet is new and in very good condition. Dakota digital gauges, all working well (Tach, Speedometer, Water Temp, Oil psi., Volts, Turn signals, etc.), all lighting up in blue. After-market A/C unit, works well. The dash is in good shape. Headliner is new and matches in color well. The radio is not currently working.

Drive train consists of a 1968 vintage 327 c.i. bored over 0.020”, dump hump heads, Turbo 350 transmission. It runs starts & runs smoothly with a mild thump. 4bbl carb, Griffin aluminum radiator, new master cylinder / brake booster, disc brakes on the front, drums on the rear. Tubular arms, power steering assist valve, all on a California frame. New Speedway Motors wiring harness. Factory rear-end.

This is a very solid Nomad and a reliable driver. While there are a few things needing attention, they also add to the nostalgic of the car. I have driven it and it runs & drives nicely. Give me a call @ 662-560-4609 or send me Ebay emails and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction if the reserve hasn’t been met. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
